Kentucky’s new law, which was first introduced by Rep. Adam Bowling on February 19, is a game-changer for crypto enthusiasts. It protects the “right to self-custody, run a node, and use of digital assets” without fear of discrimination. Because, let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good Bitcoin? 💸

But wait, there’s more! The legislation also provides guidelines for running a crypto node, excludes crypto mining from money transmitter license requirements, and specifies that mining and staking are not considered offering or selling a security. Because, you know, that’s just a bunch of fancy lawyer talk for “we’re going to let you do whatever you want with your Bitcoin.” 🤪

The bill passed Kentucky’s House of Representatives with a unanimous vote of 91-0, and then passed the state Senate with a vote of 37-0. Because, let’s face it, who doesn’t love a good Bitcoin party? 🎉

Kentucky is not alone in its love for Bitcoin, however. Oklahoma has also introduced a bill to establish a Bitcoin reserve, allowing the state to allocate up to 10% of excess state reserves into digital assets, including Bitcoin (BTC). And get this – the bill is still under review! 🤔

Outras contas de reserva de Bitcoin avançam 🚀

Meanwhile, Oklahoma’s House Bill 1203 (HB 1203), known as the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Act, has passed the State House of Representatives with a vote of 77-15. Because, let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good Bitcoin party? 🎉

Arizona remains in the lead, however, after two strategic digital asset reserve bills cleared Arizona’s House Rules Committee on March 24 and headed to the House floor for a full vote. Because, let’s face it, Arizona is just a bunch of hipsters who got in on the Bitcoin bandwagon early. 🤪

E, finalmente, o Comitê Especial de Assuntos Intergovernamentais do Missouri também está no processo de avaliar a conta de reserva de Bitcoin do estado. Porque, vamos ser reais, quem não ama uma boa reunião do comitê de Bitcoin? 🤣
